GCP does special things with movement keys (saves you much work in basic movement) but this is a problem if you don't use the standard keys (QWEASD).

To solve this, you need to add a command to the ini file for your profile.

Look in the c:\gamecommanderpro folder.
Find the folder named <your profile name>.GCP_CONFIG and open it.
Open a file called GameCommanderPro.ini with a text editor (notepad will do)
Add a line similar to the following:

SPECIALKEYS WERSDF

You should use your keys (the ones bound to movement in the game) in place of WERSDF. The order of the keys does not matter.

Save the file and restart GCP.

Currently you cannot use

Currently you cannot use arrow keys as special keys. We have recognized this is a problem and will add this in a future update.

I do have a work around.

The basic idea would be to make commands for each arrow key simulating the normal functionality that GCP uses for movement keys.

use default movement bindings in WoW and make some commands like this:
Bind to Shift-Up key Down

<<All>>
Press W

Bind to Shift-Up key UP
<<All>>
Release W

If you would like me to walk you through it we should setup a time to chat.

Arrow keys vs wersdf for movement?

I use the arrow keys in combination with the 2 mouse keys for movement and changing camera view, (looking around) to do all my moving. Never have used the WERSDF keys for movement except as maped in Halt/release. I don't seem to be having any issues, or maybe this is why my toons run off some times?

edit. OK now I'm sure this is some how the cause of my run away toons. I just remembered last night I would mount up on flying mounts and move my cursor through the different windows as I hit the space bar to lift off, I found some of my toons had hit the ceiling of in game play area and I was trying to figure that out. It's as though I moved the mouse off the toon and the space bar was still pushed. I know a macro to lift off will fix this. (Tonite)

I mouse turn.

Does mouse turning translate across instances of the game besides using the follow command?

If you ran the Do this First

If you ran the Do this First wizard you should have a command called mousebroadcasting bound to the "Page Up" key
