I am having trouble getting my toons to cast the spell I put in on the wizard. I open the advanced/view and it will read cast firstdot on dps. before on single spells it showed the name of the spell it was using.
When I set up this set, I put all in DPS. I also put two druids in the healer group. so party/master is druid 1. I have a long cast (wrath and sting) and the firstdot which moonfire and hunter mark. firstdot works fine, but it is the other one that only 2 druids cast wrath other druid and hunter do nothing. I am not sure what I set as target on that one. that was why I wanted a way to edit those spell wizard commands
If you click "Action" then "Spell" you can then do a File/Open and load the spell into the editor. This will allow you to see who you are targeting and which group you have casting the spell.
I can walk you through this if you want to get on support chat.
thanks for the pointer. Turns out I put the wrong spell on the wrong toons sheesh

I assume you created a spell called firstdot, and that contains 2 or more actual spells. I also notice you're casting from the DPS group.
One issue is whether you have a DPS target. Press the 0 key followed by a number. This number determines who "calls" the dps target.
I usually have that set to one, so DPS tracks my tank, but occasioanlly, when I'm off tanking for instance, I set it to 2 so my hunter can "call" the targets.
Anyway, press zero (on the numeric keypad) then 1. You should see a message on the UI saying DPS targeting 1 (xxxxx). XXXXX will be the target of toon 1 (or "unknown" if toon1 has no target). If you change target on toon 1, you should see this change.
Once that's working, the next thing to check is whether any toons are in the DPS group. When you load GCP the toons will be in whichever group is in your profile. Make sure that at least one toon is in the DPS group.
I move my main between tank and DPS role (he's a druid and I often have my hunter pet tank). To do this I have a command:
Groupset MooBash,DPSand
GroupSet MooBash,TankHope this helps.
