Hello,
I am having a problem after uninstalling GCP.
The problem is that I can no longer use CTRL modifier on my Druids.
It's fine on all other characters on all accounts, but locked for the Druid team I used to setup GCP to test.
I'm trying everything I can think of,but it seems as if something left over from GCP keybinding is blocking normal operation.
Can you help pls.
Thanks
Hi thanks for replying quickly.
Yes I am using CTRL contained in a macro.
e.g my "Mount" macro
/assist focus
/cast [nomod] !travel form
/cast [mod:ctrl] swift stormsaber
/cast [mod:shift] !flight form
/cast [mod:alt] !moonkin form
So of all the above its only swift stormsaber which will show no indication (illumination) when pressed, all the others are working properly.
When I had GCP installed yes I had keys bound to CTRL modifier, and it is these that seem stuck somewhere causing the problem.
I have tried reboots cleaning files everything I can think of,i've been at this now about 12 hours.
It seems to only be effecting the Druid team, which are the only ones I setup using GCP,all my other toons on the same account are fine and modifiers are fine,if this helps clarify?
Not at all,I uninstalled it because it wasn't intuitive enough for me,and I want to do some BG PVP.
Are you still running the GCP addon? Try removing it if you are.
No,I have removed that, still the same.
Try moving your WTF and Interface folder you your desktop and running WoW again.
Are you running any other software that could be causing this?
If your CTRL key works with other profiles and other programs it much be something in those files.
You could try saving the macro again.
Also if you bind soothing to a CTRL modified key does it work. Try binging action bar button 1 to CTRL-1 see if that works.
Hi i've sorted it.
I had already tried WTF and Interface but I did it again to be sure,no difference.
Your advice on binding Ctrl-1 cleared the key and I have done it for all of them now, such a simple thing doh!.
So i'm all back to where I was before and a happy camper again;p
There's no way I would have thought of binding Ctrl-1 so thank you so much for taking the time to help me out,it's much appreciated.

Are you using a CTRL modifier in a macro or is the macro bound to a CTRL modified key?
If the modifier is in the macro try rebooting WoW. Also make sure GCP is not running in your processes.
If its the key binding try rebinding it.
P.S. If you don't mind me asking are you uninstalling GCP because you are unhappy with it? If so, what could we do to improve it?
