EDIT: This entire post has been edited now that my problem is fixed. This is all that I could think of off the top of my head, I'll add more as I come across it.
Helpful startup tips:
1)If you are only Multiboxing 2 or 3 accounts, it's easier when making your first profile to assign all of your characters as DPS (Don't worry, they can still heal!)
2)I'll steal this one from Phil's post so it's in one location, TO IMPORT SPELLS FROM WOW, broadcast(Ctrl Enter) /export, next when you go into Actions/spell you can hit import and all of your spells show up.
3)When creating an action:
DO NOT NAME TWO ACTIONS AS FOLLOWS: dps, dps1, dps#1, heal, heal1
Instead name them like this: dps1, dps2, dps3, heal1, heal2, etc. As of 28 AUG 09, GCP cannot tell the difference between "dps" and "dps1". It treats "dps1" as "dps". This was a bug I ran into yesterday that caused some headache.
4) Make sure when creating an action that you click the pink text on the far right that says "Click here then press a key to record". Do not click in the Text box.
5) If you are like me and use Q and E as spell binds, you have to configure GameCommanderPro.ini (Open with Notepad or Wordpad) and add this text to the last line:
SPECIALKEYS wasd
I acknowledge that the documentation has got somewhat left behind. We are addressing this as a priority.
