In an attempt to attempt to make my multiboxing team bigger, stronger, faster (because I have the technology) I decided to do a fresh install of GCP. So I removed GCP, deleted all remaining folders - with specific note to the GameCommanderPro folder in C: drive.

I reinstalled, setup a new profile. Went through the first wizard. Activated broadcast mode, typed /GCP EXPORT. Clicked Spells, Import. At that point the client computer give the following error:

Run-time error '91':
Object variable or With block variable not set.

Click OK and the client GCP closes.

FYI, I'm running a dual PC setup, and I've tried this with different classes.

Spell Import issue

I have a similar issue with importing spells.

I started ( 5 toons ) and the /gcp export -> Spell Import functions seem to be working fine for the first 30 lvls or so ( not sure when it stopped working ).

I respected my mages to fire and re-ran the /gcp export -> Spell Import and none of the new spells are in the list.

Is there a way of checking?

Were you able to import from a client before the reinstall?

Are you....

@peat

Are you broadcasting "/gcp export" and then "/rl" to all five toons or just one?

Import Spells

Quote Zwipple : "Are you broadcasting "/gcp export" and then "/rl" to all five toons or just one?"

Yes

Process,

1) Get new training
2) run "/gcp export in broadcast mode"
3) run "/rl"
4) go to spell import utility.... ( nothing)

I have manually edited the GCP_SPELLS file to get my new spells in and it seems to work, I assumed this file was over written each time the /gcp export was run, but that does not seem to be the case.

I have checked it (GCP_SPELLS file ) to see if I added a typo or spurious char but cant see anything wrong

GCP_Spells.txt is only

GCP_Spells.txt is only updated on an import. The /gcp export and /rl writes to the saved variables in the WoW directory. I don't have a second machine to test on atm I will get one setup tomorrow and see what I can do.
For now you could just create a 2nd profile with all chars on one machine and just export reload and import then just copy and paste the GCP_Spells.txt into your other profile.
