How do you guy's handle being called a Hacker or with the threats of being reported.??

I only bring this up as it seems to be on the rise and is a serious bother to me as I try to play the game and have them follow me around asking all sorts of questions.

I've even resorted to saying "If you think I'm Illegal report me". or L2P then I refer them to www.gamecommanderpro.com if they are really interested.

I thought Multi-Boxing had been out for a long time and everyone had heard about it by now.

Meanwhile my ignore list is growing.

Next 5man team will be named "Multi, Boxing, Is, Not, Illegal" placed in the middle of SW then IF. There will still be those dumb $%$s that can't read I guess..

ROFL

Target them, type /ROFL !

I once got kicked from a party (of real people) for mentioning that I multi box. I was questing with my druids and a person pleaded with me to heal a party. I dropped what I was doing, and joined the group (always a sucker for being helpful). We got about half way through when the group fell apart (1 went AFK, one said GTG and dc'd etc). There were 3 of us left, and I said that's why I multi-box. Next thing I get loads of abuse (including being accused of using mods, which this person considered cheating) and got kicked. I just reformed my boxing group and carried on to do the instance myself.

I find that about 70% of people cheer me on and are curious, 20% say WTF (usually interested if I reply) and the others insult me. I just say ok, you are entitled to your opinion, but I suggest you check the facts, and BTW I'm just on my way to solo xxxx (where xxxx is the local instance)

If they are still silly, then I just do the ROFL and leave - life's too short.

Phil

I wouldn't worry to much..

I wouldn't worry to much.. It seems that Blizzard doesn't have any issues with multiboxing. In fact they've made it clear that you can have up to 8 accounts with Battle.net and run them simultaniously, if you so desire. That alone tells you they don't mind because a battle.net account is only supposed to be for an individual and they are outright saying it's alright.

Q: How do I log in if I’ve merged multiple World of Warcraft accounts?
A: After you log in to World of Warcraft using the Battle.net Account, you will be prompted to select which of the merged World of Warcraft accounts you wish to play. Players with multiple World of Warcraft accounts are still able to log in and play them simultaneously.

From: http://us.battle.net/faq/index.html

Also, this post from a Blizzard poster will give you an idea what they consider unacceptable, and if you read it you'll see they do not consider multiboxing a crime.

I dunno about you, but it doesn't matter what they say. I consider it to be a challenge. Just because you can control 5 characters at once doesn't mean you're good at it.

I think Aredek (Blizz Poster) put it best with his comment in the customer service forums on 10/4/09:

The act of controlling multiple characters at once using multiple accounts is perfectly acceptable so long as automation is not involved. Should you feel that this takes the fun out of the game and would like to see our policies change, please feel free to post on our Suggestions Forum.

Best wishes.

ColdHearted,

I really would not worry about this, it has been discussed at length and has already been stated by Blizz they do not have an issue as long as you stay within the TOS.

A lot of ppl are just jealous some are just kids, but you can bet your bottom Dollar ( I'm Scottish, thus pound) that Blizz are monitoring you for illegal activity. The fact that your still around kinda speaks volumes, No?

My usual comment to ppl that accuse me is the following:

"Please report me and please let me know what the outcome is, thanks. Oh by the way I have put you on friends hope you dont mind :)"

There are GMs that

There are GMs that multibox.

It is not in the least frowned upon by Blizzard. You are going to have to accept that when you play games like these there are going to be a certain amount of immature types. Play the game how you like to play and enjoy!

;)
