OK,

I discovered the following ( probably old hat to others) and thought I would share since i received quite a performace boost on FPS.

Like a lot of you I have been playing WOW for a long time and only recently got into MB'ing. When I started MB'ing I copied my original WOW folder 4 extra times to make up my 5 man team.

Things were fine and I had about 30FPS per wow instance and thought nothing more about it. I rolled a few teams on top of the existing single chars I had created in the past ( probably a collection of 30 over a few servers )

I started to notice in one of my wow instances that the FPS had dropped to 10FPS. I went through the usual of trying to find out the difference with addons/video setting etc, but no joy.

I then took the drastic action of removing the WTF & the cache directories from the wow instance that was 10FPS and restarted, amazingly it shot up to 60FPS by this one action. I then proceeded to do the same for the other 4 toons also, hey voila 60FPS on all toons at the same time ( this was amazing a new game )

Ok the Down side ( word of caution ) deleting the WTF folder means you loose all your retained settings ( not macros as they are stored server side I believe), so be warned there will be reconfiguration involved if you do this, but if your suffering bad performace try doing it on one char thats the worst say and see if that fixes the issue, if you have tried all options with respect to addons and video setting etc ( hope someone gets the same benefit as I did !!!)

After Thought : Just to state this has nothing to do with GCP at all, just a general tip I thought I would share
