I'm trying to set up a command that will let me MouseBroadcast while I hold down a key and turn it back off when I release. I have a command that works for the down portion, but seem to have problems turning it back off on release. Any workarounds?

thanks,
Tot

ExitKey

ExitKey PageDown
MouseBroadcast 1

Bind this to PageDown Down

Replace PageDown with whatever key you wish to use.

AoE

Could this be worked into an AoE macro to get rid of the need to hit Esc to exit mouse broadcasting? Every button push less is a plus! Like: pressing F5 down aligns the viewing angles and initiates the casts, mouseclick to cast (all in one of the casters' windows), releasing F5 again clears mouse broadcasting. Pretty please? :)

You could bind "f5 down" run

You could bind "f5 down" to run the AOE command.

Then create a command:

MouseBroadcast 0

and bind it to F5 up.

I think that would do what you need. The only issue is that you would have to hold F5 until you'd clicked - probably not an issue.

p.s. to bind key downs, you have to be in the advanced screen. Select the command in the list, then press and hold F5. Click where it says F5 down. Same deal for up.
