I seem to be having a ton of problems on how to set this up. Im duel boxing with 2 shammys . ones level 25 the other i just started. i want them to group so the level1 will quest faster and eventually catch yup with the level 25. The problem is that they dont move together, one doesnt follow the other even thou im mouseing over the name plate and pressing the "F" key. The "F" key is bound to follow also but still doesnt work. Another poblem is I cant get them to both target the same mob. Even if I click on a mob and press the key bound spell , nada still nothing .

Some things to check

Let me know when you're on, and we'll get together on support chat.

Sounds like something is active, so I'll go through the setup with you, and we'll just check out a few things.

In the meantime, 90% of start up issues are solved by the following:

  • If you are using version 1, try version 2, it's much easier.
  • Make sure that the GCP mod is enabled in the WoW addons (you should see a message "nn commands loaded" in the chat window at startup).
  • Make sure you run "do this first" - click setup on the GCP tool bar.
  • Make sure an upload has occured - to force one

    - click views advanced
    - click "manual upload" and click "upload" on the popup window
    - type "/rl" in the chat window of each toon.

  • Make sure that the "active" checkbox is checked, and the word "active" (to the right of the toolbar) is green.

Hope this helps, and let's chat soon.

I am currently useing the beta version. I made sure the addon was enabled and I went through the whole setup "do it first" thing. I do not see an active option on the beta version anywhere?

When you hover your mouse

When you hover your mouse over the top part of your main screen, the GCP tool bar appears. On the far right of this toolbar is the word "Active" with a check box to the right of it. Check the box and the word active (initially black) turns green. Uncheck it the word active turns red.

This is the main "on/off" switch for GCP.

version 2.0.0.15 is what im

version 2.0.0.15 is what im woking with and the GCP toolbar has the following options. Systems , Actions, Spells, Layouts, Views , Setup. There is no "Active" on the far right of the bar.Now on the version 1.2.17 the is an ACTIVE button. Am i missing something here?

Another problem is that after exiting the game and closing down GCP, Upon wow restart its in windows mode and when i go back to switching it to regular mode it stays stuck in the windows mode. I have to open my wow WTF folder and change my config from gxWindow "1" back to gxwindow "0". Is there a way around this?

I've included a screenshot

I've included a screenshot from my system showing the "active" item. If you don't have that, then there is a definite issue, as you can't "switch on" GCP.

For windowed mode, click options / video from the WoW logon screen - there is a check box there for windowed mode - make sure that is cleared.
