I downloaded the new version of GCP and installed it, however, I didn't uninstall/delete the old GPC files/folders. Now I'm getting an Unhandled exception saying "The given key was not present in the directory." and WoW isn't launching from the Layout Editor. Here's the details from the exception:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Can you send us a copy of your config

Can you send us a copy of your c:\gamecommanderpro folder and we'll run it under debug to find the issue. Your passwords may be stored in saveinfoprofile.txt, so you will probably need to edit that file first.

Sorry about this, but it's clearly in issue with your config that didn't occur on our test machines.

Thanks

Phil

I already downloaded 2.0.0.15

I already downloaded 2.0.0.15 again, installed it, and its running fine. Its a minor issue to me that I fixed by going back to the older version. Unless there is a bigger game changing difference to GCP with .16 I'll be happy running .15 for now. If you still need the file let me know again here and I'll duplicate what happened to cause the exception. Might help with other fixes later on or something :-)

Version .16 probably doesn't do much for you

It's really about fixing problems with setup and battle.net - it your already up and running you don't need it.

For our benefit (and any others who may hit this problem in the future), it would be useful to replicate the problem under debug, so if it's not too much trouble, I'd like to try with your config. You can copy your c:\gamecommanderpro folder somewhere else, edit the saveinfoprofile.txt file to remove any passwords, right click the copy and send to zip, and e-mail the zip file to .

If you could do that, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks

Phil

Thanks

It will be a 2 minute fix - I just need to track it down.
