I'm playing on a private server so i have my layout and team information highlighted and my character name WoW path and realm selected along with class and group role. The only 2 fields that are blank are Battle.net account and account. If I select either of these it cant find my battlenet account and I cant not just cancel or exit out I have to end process GCP_1.exe... if I leave those 2 fields blank click save it pops a bar at the top of my screen saying GCP is not currently active to activate check activate. Wether I check the box or not it does not open the windows to the correct size or really seem to function at all.

non battle.net setup

We've converted to battle.net accounts by popular demand. To make it work, you'll need to pretend you have some. The key thing is that the sub-account names match your real account names. In your case, the battle.net account name can be anything. Provided you do that, and you point the WoW path to the right place, GCP will work

There is one exeption - automatic logon. You will need to write a script manualy. To do this:

  1. Switch to full mode.
  2. Click views/advanced
  3. select wizardunbound on the top left drop down box (don't worry if there is no wizardunbound - it will depend on what wizards you ran)
  4. if "logon" appears in the list, double click it.
  5. if not, click "new" and enter the name "logon"
  6. edit the text in the window to read something like:
<<NAMEFORCHAR1>>
Hit {Home}
Hit +{end}
Hit {delete}
send ACCOUNTFORCHAR1
hit {Tab}
send PASSWORDFORACCOUNTFORCHAR1
hit {Enter}

<<NAMEFORCHAR2>>
Hit {Home}
Hit +{end}
Hit {delete}
send ACCOUNTFORCHAR2
hit {Tab}
send PASSWORDFORACCOUNTFORCHAR2
hit {Enter}

repeat for each character.

Then click "save".

Let me know how this works out.

Is there a manual for this

Is there a manual for this that I could read through because I think im missing something fairly easy. I dont think the logon part is so much a problem as getting the screen layout setup right and running cause if the 3 screens came up then yeah i could run the script and it would launch for each screen.

Whenver I select my character name it ask me to select my WoW account so it goes out and goes C:\Program Files (x86)\WoW and click select. From there it pulls up all my characters from each realm. I select character 1 and it fills in everything except my account which is blank (maybe because im on a private server). I go to character 2 and 3 and repeat this process. Whenever I click launch it spits out "error Could not find Battle.Net account please enter it in Battle.Net account manager." So I click Ok and it opens BattleNet Account Manager. So under accounts i make "account" and add my profiles where my characters are from the WTF folder in WOW for my sub accounts.

OK - so does that work?

There are a number of documents on the Wiki. Each covers a prt of the system.

There is also http://www.gamecommanderpro.com/commands which explains the command language of GCP.
