I cannot get the I - invite command, the F - follow command to work and have tried uninstalling ti and reinstalling it 4 times and no change. I tried to watch your videos on how to setup but they are for a different version and I have yet to be able to figure this out. I am having the same issue as ironsatan. I have gone through the setup 'do this first' multiple times and tried broadcasting and logging/relogging too.

I am running Windows Vista 64bit with 5 characters.

I am also running on a private server if that makes a difference (I own it.) I was unable to do the /rl /reload or /reloadui commands, this might be the problem. The UI also failed to give me the 'update' popup after I have changed settings. Also, since I cant use a 'battle net' account (because I have 5 separate accounts), how can I get the program to recognize my characters and save their respective login data. Oh and this also might be why nothing works. :)

Turning on the addons (they were out of date) didn't really do anything that I could notice. I hit 'load out of date addons' on all my windows. They were probably out of date because my server is running 2.3.3.

Once you turn them on, at least the "/rl" should work. (these features only depend on the addon)

I would like to know a few things about this program. I thank you in advance for answering them to the best of your abilities :)

1. Does using this program on a private server have any effect on its functionality? (I can still make 5 accounts, each with its own character, however there is no B.net account, so the auto login feature doesnt really work)

2. I am running a private server. The patch the server is running on is 2.3.3. When I go to 'addons' at the character menu they say they are 'out of date'. Is this because there is such a vast difference between my server patch and the real Blizzard server patch that its just not compatible?

--Also, for the house call support thing, do I need to create an account or do I input your information there?
----Also also! I use 'Team Viewer' when I give my friends remote support, its free, anonymous, and no account is needed. If you haven't considered using it before, you should give it a look-see! You can see your clients screen and control it if they let you.

1. You would have to manually edit the auto logon script, which is probably a bit advanced until you get into GCP, but it is possible to get auto login to work - I can probably find an old copy of the wizard (from pre battlenet days) which would make life easier. All other features should be fine. GCP works with the clients, so knows nothing of the server.

2. The GCP mod should work with your version (we've done nothing since 2.2.3 which should break anything). You may need to change the header file to make it happy. Go to <wow folder>/interface/addons/gamecommandpro folder and open gamecommandpro.toc with notepad. The first line ##Interface: 30300 needs changing to 20300 (or something similar, you may have to play with the number a bit)

Actually we had a trial with "instant house call" and no-one used it, so we're reluctant to pay the price (it's $150 per period). I'll take a look at team viewer, thanks for the recommendation.

Well here is another update on whats going on. Whenever I invite someone to my party, a GCP interface shows up! Whenever I invite my alts to the party to 5 box, nothing shows up! hah!

Changing the header file did make it happy, thanks for the tip. However I am still having much trouble getting the program to function correctly, does it have anything to do with the fact that its a trial version?

So I'm confused! The GPC mod detects party changes. If there is more than one member in the party, it pops up the interface.

The interface settings do vary by character, so its possible that the display options are turned off on one and not the other. Try /gcp config to check this. You can also type /gcp solo to make the interface appear without being grouped (we put that in for test purposes, but it may be useful to check your status)

The general issues sound like you (or me) missed a step somewhere in the setup. IM me on (MSN) or and let's go through a few things.

None of the commands that are supposed to work do actually work =/ When i do /rl i get 0 commands. I can't "invite", "follow" and so on. What can be wrong?
Setup > Do this first - i did everything, but it didn't help.
-When i press special hotkey (like "I" for invite) i can get random windows open: inventory, skills, even FPS rate.
-When i'm asked to "click to record next key press" for "strafe left" and i press "a" it shows "A Up" (why does it contain "UP" ?)
--Same for every button ("Follow" i have "F Up" and for "Invite" - "I Up") - could it be the issue? how do i get rid of that? =/

My GCP addon is active: i get quest chat messages, i have auto quest accept, etc.

hello mate.. i bought the software and somewhy it's not working.. i thinkit has a great ui and easy to use.. but i can't do anything what it is for.... so if possible i would like to have a chance to talk with someone of you to help me...

I've got the trial installed and running on a live server but none of my keybindings will transmit to the other character. I tried to use that instant house call software and couldn't even get that to work. PLEASE help me without having to fuss with downloading ANOTHER STUPID THING and fight my way through trying to use it without knowing HOW!

It sounds like you are missing a step (maybe GCP is not active, or you didn't select which keys you wish to broadcast etc)

I followed the GCP Wiki and it still didn't work. Then I logged out and rebooted and logged back in and suddenly it worked but then I couldn't use my custom movement keys. I followed the Wiki again and they still don't work. Either steps are missing in the Wiki or something is very wrong. I'm trying to get live support to walk through it but everyone is offline and the Housecall program says none of those addresses are valid.

Still doesn't work. I took a screenshot of how my screen looks. There are no menu options other than for keybinding at the top where the GCP bar shows. Page Up is hooked into Prat and only makes my chat scroll up.

Do you get a message in your chat window (after a reload or log on) saying "20 commands loaded" (the number may be different).

If this message does not appear, then you should check that the GCP mod is enabled (look in addons in your wow character selector screen)

If the message does appear, and the number is zero, then look in the wow addons folder for a GameCommandPro folder. Look in this folder and see if the file GameCommandPro1.lua exists, and has been recently created (it should be built whenever you start GCP) - If is has not been rebuilt, then GCP may not have permission to write to the folder - If it has been rebuilt, can you e-mail it to me at .

if the number of commands is none zero, then get back to me - I will be back home tomorrow night, so will have live support active for the following few days. I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you before this, but I've been in a situation where it has not been possible for me to do remote support for the last week. (in a TV production truck in the middle of nowhere)
