Hi there

just bought GCP last night and so far my rookie attempts at leveling 2 chars at once is a bit slow, ive managed to get my 2 chars to attack the same target ect but my issue at is since my alt is on follow and he is a hunter (in hindsight maybe not the most efficient choice) he constantly runs into melee range.

is there any way i can get my char to stop running on attack without having to put him back on follow after every attack?

cheers and sorry if this isnt the correct forum :D

Hi It's really just a case

Hi

It's really just a case of practice. As you approach the target, hit shift-s which will stop the hunter. As you move off again after the fight, hit F.

Once you get into the flow, it becomes 2nd nature.

I use a command which stops my casters, puts hunters mark on the target, commands a pet attack and charges with my tank. You do need to go into "full" mode and type a few commands to achieve this.

Here's the command:

<<All>>
Hit s
<<NeTank>>
Cast Charge
<<NeHunt>>
macro /assist %$Leader%
macro /petattack
Cast Hunter's Mark

You can read about full mode on the wiki. The <<xxx>> says which character is to do the next instruction.

This command tells all my characters to stop (hit s sends an s key press), then my tank is told to charge, then my hunter matches the target of the current leader, sends in the pet, and puts on hunters mark.
