I looked at V and it is set to Halt Release, so I tried setting a key that is easier to reach to HaltRelease and when I do my toons run around me in circles when I press it? Whats up with that, I can't reach V fast enough to stop my toons so they can cast in time not to die in battlegrounds. I am doing a /rl on all toons.

Did you change the bind to Halt, too?

Adrenaline Seed,

I'm just another GCP customer like yourself, but I suspect I may know what's going wrong.

The wizards set the Halt command to "V down", and the ReleaseHalt command to "V up". This is pretty neat... as long as you are holding down the V key, your characters spread out.

So, if you want to change the key that stops your "slaves" from autofollowing, you have to change both of these commands.

I don't know how to do the "up" vs. "down" thing with the keys in the Views, Keys area... only in the Views, Advanced area. Find and select the Halt Command in the left area of the GCP window (you may have to use the pull down menu to pick Wizards to find the command). Then watch the middle part titled Key Bindings. Then hover your mouse over a WoW window and press the button you want to use for halting... don't lift it up though. Note that that key with the "down" suffix appears in the "Last Key" area of the GCP window. Click that key to assign it. Now do the same thing to find and select the HaltRelease, but this time when you hover your mouse over the WoW window, press and release the key. You should see that key with the "up" suffix now shown in the GCP window. Select it for your binding.

Hope this helps!

Now im really fuxed. I tried

Now im really fuxed. I tried holding down the button C and it keeps bringing me to the top of the list, how can I click that while I am holding the key if it keeps moving me to ClearTargets??? Now my clear targets is set to C DOWN, What was it originally? Crap!

Holding down keys while using advanced is not a good idea I am finding! Where is undo??

Edit: Wow, everytime I press a key it keeps changing the command I am working on, I must be using this advanced window wrong.

Edit: Ok I found a work around for now. You hold down the key, then you double click any command which starts overwriting the command, but then you let go of the key, then press cancel, then it shows up as key down in the list.

Hmmm... I realized that I

Hmmm... I realized that I forgot to mention that I typically mess around with the Advanced stuff with GCP not "Active". With this, GCP is still running and can change commands and such, it's just not tied to your WoW games that are currently running.

Helps with eliminating lots of unwanted behavior!

So, with GCP "Active" not selected, make sure you have the Halt/HaltRelease command in the Advanced window selected and then mess with attempting to change the keys.

Same problem when I uncheck

Same problem when I uncheck active. pressing a key changes the action you have selected in the advanced window.

Getting the keydown on halt fixed the problem though! Thanks. I also see what halt is doing now which makes more sense and holding down that key can help me in PVP.
