Greetings all,

Just to wanted to say thanks for the nice software package. I'm new to multiboxing and GCP, but having a lot of fun. I'm running a simple 2-man team in FTL mode, learning about wow macros in general (mouseover comes to mind) and the mechanics of multiboxing with GCP. The more I play, the more I learn, and the more I like it.

I'm currently working through the wiki examples, section B2. Do I need to be in "pass through" mode to use the "/gcp" commands? For example, when I type the command "/gcp export" strange things sometime happen and I'm wondering if I need hit "enter" first to put the program in "pass through" mode.

When I eventually move to full featured mode, will the keys I've cloned in FTL mode be available?

Thanks.

Hi Falmari, Good to hear

Hi Falmari,

Good to hear your having fun, so am I, I find that it gets more rewarding the more you do it, and after you get used to the software a bit.

By pressing Enter and entering passthrough mode it tells GCP to not intercept any of your keys. So yes it is a must to type in /gcp commands or anything else in the game chatbox. When you press Enter to open the game chat box it should go into Passthrough mode automatically though.

Also, Broadcast mode is a combination of broadcasting and passthrough just to be clear, it doesn't intercept.

I am not sure exactly how this works but I used FTL mode when I first started and when I switched to full feature it kept all my keys set like they were in FTL.

I then made a new Team and used only full feature mode and it did not set any of the FTL options.

So Yes, I think if you use FTL first, then switch to full feature mode it becomes like a combination of the two. Once you start running the wizards though it will start overwriting some of your keys like the 4,5,6 keys with new functions.

Makes sense

Thanks Adrenaline,

I suspect that I used the mouse to click on the chat window and not the 'enter' key. And I probably did this more than once (habits die hard!).

The prospect of going to full feature mode is bittersweet. I am sure I will want to add at least one mage. But first I will need to upgrade hardware...

Multiple PC's are supported

Multiple PC's are supported as well if you have an older one sitting around you could pop a video card in or something.

Let me tell you, Full Feature mode is well worth the effort, writing scripts gives you a lot of power and it is fun to think of different possibilities.
