I'm using GCP for almost a year now with a mixed pve-team, running 5 clients on a DELL XPS desktop. Now I have 2-3 more characters I would like to add to hit raid content, but at times it seems running 5 game clients is pushing it already. Should I upgrade to a much more powerful (single) machine, or start building my computer farm by adding another mid-price machine? Eventually I consider running a team of 10.

More things: are GCP-commands saved team-specific? For example, somebody runs the usual 5 shamans, but adds a second team setup to GCP (like 3 rogues). Are all of the more handy keybinds now still occupied by the shaman-team commands when logging the rogues, or is logging a different team a fresh start?

Another one: is there a way to get rid of the GCP text cluttering the main's screen? Like who got aggro from which target. I never use this (Paladin tank for the win, hehe) and try to look past it, but it's annoying. The health and cast bars are fine and useful of course, and I know how to move them out of the way, but what about the rest of the UI?

Hi

I'm not sure how many you could run on a given machine - From my experience WoW loads up the graphics cards more than the rest of the computer - you could possibly manage with a graphics card upgrade. If you have a MicroCenter (or store with a similar return policy) you can get one, try it, and return if it doesn't work for you. This morning I added a 2nd graphics card to my desktop so that I could add a 3rd monitor. So far it's working well, but haven't had time to fully evaluate this - one caution - I think it's a windows 7 only feature, but I even had an ATI and an NVida card working side by side (it did disable Aero though, if transparent window boders are your thing...)

GCP works well across multiple machines, but there are a few minor limitations (annoyances rather than anything serious), so you could do it either way from a GCP perspective.

Yes, GCP commands are team specific. When you start a new team, you start new commands (there is an import button for those you want to re-use)

If you type /gcp config, you can turn on or off any part of the GCP addon.
