Sorry for the confusion.

In order to type in a chat window, you need to be in passthrough or broadcast mode. - This is the "ignore ... so I can type" that you are looking for.

In order to use GCP to cast spells, you need to NOT be in either of these modes.

I'll try to make that clearer in the documentation.

The GUI should pop up when you group your characters into a team.

The fact the "I" for invite doesn't work either suggests that the GCP mod may not be loaded into your client. Make sure that the GCP mod is enabled in the addons section (in WoW) for each character.

So passthough mode is just hitting enter. Holy cow I totally missed that you needed to enable the addon. Just assumed it would autoload on installation. I'll give that a try.

I'm still having issues with switching between modes. For example when I hit page up broadcast mode isn't working. Hitting enter isn't activating passthough. The addons are running but I needed to invite each team member myself because I isn't doing it. Now GCP is active (checked) and the addon installed (I see the HUD). Could this have something todo with the key form? Because everything seemed to stop working when I was following the video at the key form part.

I tried reinstalling the ap but it didn't seem to reset everything to default. I've even installed on my laptop with the same results. I'm frustrated by the lack of reset ability in the software. When learning it would be nice to hhave the ability to reset to default when issues like this arise. I can't understand why a reinstall on my laptop didn't reset it. I've never had GCp installed on it and yet I'm having the same issues. Are some settings stored off my computer???

Since I reinstalled GCP. I created a new layout and redid my team. Now the team info is saved and shows up correctly but when I start GCP it does the first window with the correct info but puts the first window info in the 2nd window and the 2nd window info in the 3rd window. (I'm starting with a 3 character team to make things easier and am using 3 different battlenet accounts) Often when I click on activate it crashes. GCP just goes away at the point and stops running. Something that didn't before the reinstallation.

I renamed the team and recreated it and it seems to be working now. GCP held onto the old data even after uninstall and the removing the data directory... very odd.

GCP seemed to carry over old data which was conflicting with the new setup. Making a new team solved my problems. A much better experience now.
