I recently downloaded and installed version 1.2.
I really like the new method in setting up your group with the form versus the prior way (just a long list of character names with no server designation).
I installed and started GCP with the "Client" profile on a 2nd pc to test the networking.
After starting GCP on my main, when I enter the 2nd pc's ip address or computer name in the box, I get "Runtime Error 6 'Overflow'" and GCP shuts down.
I also get the same error on the 2nd pc at same time.
I thought my firewall may be the issue, so I shut them both down temporarily, but still get the error.
Being as they both report the error at same time, it seems the GCP applications are talking, but after re-installing on both pcs, the error still persists anytime I enter either an IP address or a name.
Where are you entering the computer name?
Does it happen right when you enter the name or are you clicking or doing anything?
Could you take a screen shot showing the form and the error when this happens and email it to me at support@gamecommanderpro.com
I found a situation in which you could get an overflow and fixed this. Download v1.2.0.1
Though this could only happen while clicking on the Path, Realm, Account, or Character Name fields, so I'm not sure if this was your error.
Sorry it took so long to respond, just got home from work.
I was getting the error if I tried to enter my second pc ip address, in this case, 192.168.1.101, in the character 2 remote address box. This is after I had completed the setup for character 1 (local).
I deleted the profile and recreated it with the remote pc as character 1 and I got no error. GCP loaded wow on both machines and I followed the "Getting Started" guide from the "Configure Layout" section as instructed.
Everything seem to go as planned up to that point. I checked "Active" on the main pc GCP window and the upload box appeared only on the main.
I also checked the active box on the slave pc and it did the same, but both character windows showed the other character in red (meaning they were not active i assume?)
I hit the "I" key to invite, and the other character joined party and immediately disbanded. I did this over and over with same result.
Starting over...I deleted the profile again and tried to enter the remote pc in the character 2 slot and I got the overflow error again.
The addon is active on both accounts but did not appear(I assume it is due to the other character auto-disbanding each time)
I sent you an email with a screenshot of the error.
I downloaded the new version you put up and it seems to work now.
The remote pc is in slot 2 with no error and it started wow on both machines.
After wow starts on the main pc...the GCP window is somewhere below the taskbar..I can only see the very tops of the character windows. The only way to access the main GCP window is to maximise it to full screen.
Is there a way to set where the window is placed?
Another forum topic says to edit the forminfo file in the gamecommaderpro directory, but I have no such file in either gcp directory.
Try inviting the characters manually. What other mods do you have active? anything that could interfear with inviting?
Look at the Invite command in GCP goto Views / Advanced then in upperleft dropdown menu select wizard double click invite. Does this look sensible
GCP being offscreen is a bug you can fix this by copying your forminfo.txt's from main onto client. Or ou could just create a random profile on client this will creat forminfo.txt
I will fix this in next update.
Hello, I downloaded and installed the latest version and still am having the issue of the GCP window off screen and inaccessible.
I looked for the forminfo.txt file as you instructed, but after searching the GCP directories (as well as using windows search of hdd), the file does not exist.
I created another profile and logged in and out of Wow and still no forminfo.txt.
In the original version I downloaded upon purchase, this file was indeed there and I was able to edit it to get the GCP window where I wanted it, but in these latest versions, I dont seem to have that file anywhere.
I have emailed you a FormInfo.txt which should make it load properly.
Could you tell us your monitor setup and system specs so we can look into this issue.
Thank you
Main PC
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Core i7 920 Processor
12GB Corsair ram
GTX280 Video Card
Samsung 2253BW LCD (22")Primary Display
Viewsonic VX2235 LCD (22") Secondary Display
Resolution set to 1680x1050.
I have been 5 boxing on 5 different pcs until I bought the i7, so I am trying to run 5 accounts - 1 on Primary display full screen and 4 on secondary display @ 840x525.
Are there any plans to add some type of display layout functions similar to ISBoxer/Innerspace, Maximizer etc? It would really be helpful as so far I have been unable to replicate a "perfect" layout. Mostly due to needing to remove the window frames to place them exactly, but needing to frames to move the windows, and the windows changing size due to losing the frame.
The forminfo file worked. It placed it at bottom of screen where I was able to move it around.

I have seen this error before but have been having trouble tracing it. Could you contact me via Support Chat or IM me on MSN support@gamecommanderpro.com.
It is possible that it is just an incorrect ip address or computer name.
